It&amp;#39;s completely not cool that that girl talked to you like that, but just brush her off. She was misinformed. =D&lt;br /&gt;2) We&amp;#39;re being silent to draw attention to the fact that we&amp;#39;re silenced in smaller ways every day. I know that I&amp;#39;m afraid to ever mention my orientation because verbal bullying is a big problem at my school. Also, protesting is more likely to be met with resistance from staff.
