I've been doing the day of silence for five years already. :)
I came out my 5th grade year.
I'm Proud of being a Lesbian<33
I was surprised today. A lot of people took part in the day of silence and supported it, but many still hated. :/ I don't get how people can say this is gay and pointless, when the whole thing is against saying things like that. I'm bi, and I really don't see a problem with it. If people don't like it, they don't have to say mean things.
My school was kind of supportive over the intercom they told the teachers that they couldn't harass us or make us talk a few people supported it not a lot since our school is mainly anti LGBT rights. One of the students even got up and yelled at everyone in the room for doing it calling them gay fags and pointing at each student however i did not speak up nor cry there isnt a point. so instead i grabbed a paper wrote to the teacher (me and her are good friends) She told the student right after to stop saying those rude remarks or she was going to right him up for bullying. He didnt shut up so he ended up getting suspended for harassing kids.
